History of Webagge

HOME

It was November 2025, and someone with an affinity for record-keeping and documentation stumbled upon a web page from 2002 cataloging a nuclear engineer at RPI's stints, travels, and interests. As it was in the dawn of the millenium, this was one of many interconnected pages in the great World Wide Web preserving people's friends, clubs, life, careers, aspirations, which was a wonder to explore...

In an effort to bring back this awe 20 years later, I asked my dear ITWS friend Gavin to help out with the website creation process. And sure enough, one day during Winter finals week in Commons, Webagge was first published.

This formula of a personal website devoted to simply fun as opposed to professionalism and functionality proved refreshing, as others followed suit, starting a new little web within the RPI college circle. And while this website serves as a means to express my thoughts to the world that cares, it is also a preservation of my life at this age that I continue to work on for myself.

"I did it for me." -Walter H. White

Evan establishes the home page for the first time. Blue text with link is established, later to become this section.

Some others with their own pages:

I've included some other friends' pages, inspired to start their own projects!
